It was after a month that I fully accepted that I have this condition that they called Uretero Pelvic Conjunction Obstruction with Hydronephrosis. A few months from now, I will undergo another surgery that they called pyeloplasty. I can still remember how nervous I was when I undergo a CT Scan.  I was hoping and praying that it is not as  serious as cancer. Thankfully, it is not. 

Lately, I've been attending health related events. The first one was about Cordlife, a talk about life-saving cord blood and cord blood banking. World Cord Blood Day2017: A Celebration of Life

Yesterday, I attended the Mio Gelati grand launch held at 3rd level of Ayala Malls Vertis North, a new mall besides Trinoma. I was delighted to found out that they are having a branch there because Ayala Malls Vertis North is just one ride from my place. Indeed, Ayala Malls Vertis North will be our favorite "tambayan" and that Mio Gelati will be one of  our favorite ice cream shop.

#TLCFest2017 A celebration of all things Filipino

Last Saturday, November 4, I was invited at the #TLCFest2017 held at Bonifacio High Street. I was there as early as 11 in the morning and was able to witnessed this year’s TLC Festival celebration of all things Filipino, showcasing the best that the Philippines has to offer. I never expected a huge number of people that will be joining this event. Maybe because it was Saturday, it was a perfect day for families or group of friends to simply go out and enjoy the said event.

Save the Children’s #LahatSanta campaign wants you to put on your Santa hat and be a hero for kids

Did you know that in the Philippines, 1 in 3 children suffers from stunted growth due to hunger and malnutrition, and this means that they won’t be able to reach their full potential. Poor families struggle to feed their children and it’s estimated that 1.5 million Filipino children go to sleep hungry every night, not having eaten a thing all day, says Dr. Amado Parawan, Save the Children’s Health and Nutrition Advisor.
