Recently, I attended the Cherry Mobile Event held at the New World Hotel, Makati City. Christmas is the season of love and thanksgiving. And it is also a time most cherished by Filipinos, because more than the Noche Buena and the gift giving, we relish the precious moments spent with family and loved ones.  

Christmas, however, is also bittersweet, especially for our hardworking OFW's. While they brim with pride, sending their families Balikbayan boxes full of gifts and goodies, they are unable to see firsthand the joy and smiles that they bring. Many OFWs would prefer to be with their loved ones this holiday, however, distance and circumstance prohibit them.
